The capital of Washington state, rainy Seattle is called Emerald capital of the American North-West, but its only a part of the truth. Washington State has a nickname Evergreen due to its magnificent forests and lush greenery. Seattle is renowned as one of the most green and ecologically clean cities in the world. Seattle also has a lot of reservoirs ocean gulf, numerous lakes, rivers and streams. Like Venice for Europe, Seattle is Glass Mecca for America. Its a leader in glass production and design. A lot of art galleries exhibit glass treasures in Seattle. The glory of music capital Seattle gained due the famous musicians born here Jimmy Hendricks, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden and Kenny G. Seattle is a city of coffee. It is the first in the amount of consumable coffee and in the amount of coffee houses per citizen. Seattle became a cradle of coffee boom in USA here was invented a special recipe of coffee grains frying and the first Starbucks, SBS и Tully's coffee houses were opened. The main attraction of the city is its way of life, but there is also an architectural symbol of the city - Space Needle tower, officially opened on April 21, 1962.
